peter has spent much of the last twenty years cutting a rimbaudian swathe through melbourne's seedier nightspots; in-between he has been an editor of egg (poetry), had works published in a number of australian journals, magazines and 'zines under a number of pseudonyms, produced and directed no-budget short films, promoted gigs for god-awful rock and roll playing garage bands, and worked in community arts. he currently spends his time reading comics, collecting records, pointing a camera at stuff, and learning not to count to forty.
for the four years of its lifespan brooke debated and argued the other more excitable editors of egg (poetry) to a realisation approaching reason. brooke's work has appeared in several australian magazines; her ongoing relationship with poetry has led her to fully appreciate the rhythms and subtleties of languages other than her own.
